Thurgood Marshall is a 2015 black Oldenburg gelding currently competing at the Intermediate level. Though he only began his eventing career in November 2023, he has taken to the sport like a fish to water. In 2024, he competed at AECsin the Preliminary Horse division and successfully completed the CCI2*-L at The Fork at Tryon that September. Since then, he has completed four Intermediate events, including a 2nd place finish.

Thurgood is extremely fancy on the flat, uber careful in the show jump ring, and possesses plenty of gallop for the upper levels. He makes jumping feel effortless, clearly showing scope and potential to go higher. This is a horse with the athleticism, rideability, and work ethic to continue progressing confidently up the levels.
